1-in-5 promotion rate to technical sergeant
The Air Force has selected 7,752 eligible staff sergeants for promotion to technical sergeant, it was announced Thursday. They were selected out of a pool of 37,185 eligible airmen, for a selection rate of 20.85 percent.
